Our Story
A life- long Oregonian, Dan has resided in Washington County since 1993, and has been in the cabinet industry since 1995. Cutting his teeth working at a higher end design/build firm, he then spent 14 years as a manufacturer representative covering the Pacific Northwest & Alaska, calling on hundreds of showrooms and business owners. Most recently Dan piloted the successful launch of a cabinet division for a local flooring chain, prior to starting Cabinet Fantastic LLC. A veteran of 25 years in the industry, Dan makes the cabinetry design process fun for his clients. From education on functionality and construction specifics, to information on fashion trends and budgetary scopes, he keeps the mood light with dashes of timely humor as the opportunities present themselves. So much of life is about enjoying the journey – designing the kitchen of your dreams should be no different!
Cabinet Fantastic was born out of the idea that people deserve better than just a commodity transaction when purchasing their cabinetry. There is an aesthetic story to be told, as well as a narrative to be put into place that addresses lifestyle and functionality.
In a word- it’s personal!
Getting started
Ready to chat about your upcoming project? Contact Cabinet Fantastic today to schedule your Free initial design consultation at the showroom. A link to the Project Questionnaire is provided here. Plan on 1-2 hours in most cases.
Things to bring to your showroom appointment:
*Dimensional measurements of the space. See last page of questionnaire for specifics.
*Specifics on any choices you have already made (manufacturer, model #, name, color, etc.) on appliances, flooring, counter tops, back splash, or cabinetry color and door style. It’s ok if you do not have any of these choices made yet; it just gives us more to chat about!
* Any inspirations you may have, be it magazine clippings or links to your Pinterest or Houzz library. These are all quite helpful in helping determine what the overall pallet will begin to evolve towards.
Optional-You may also schedule your initial design consultation at your home if you wish. There is a $199 design retainer (non-refundable) that is due at the time of the initial meeting, with that amount being credited back towards your balance at the time of purchase. This on site consultation will also include site measurement. Indicate in remarks section if you would prefer this option.
