What should I know about painted cabinetry?
Many are aware that painted cabinets have been quite popular over the last decade, and with that it is important that the customer is aware of the nature of wood, and how it is affected by temperature and humidity. Attached is a short article (link here) that is informative on the issue. Manufacturers for their part seek to address by using kiln dried woods, or in many cases, substituting paint grade MDF/HDF material instead of hardwood, which is more stable and less susceptible to expansion and contraction. Over the course of time paint may chip off if hit or rubbed against. We provide whenever possible matching paint in a rattle can for ease in addressing minor touch up issues
May I install my own cabinetry?
Of course! If you need an installer we can refer some to you as well; many who are individuals that we have long standing relationships with. After point of purchase we will provide detailed dimensional information to you as well as the installer, and we are always available to help with questions that may arise during installation.
May I return my cabinets for a refund?
All cabinetry sold by Cabinet Fantastic is “built to order” based upon the customers needs and specifications, and due to their custom nature, cannot be returned for a refund.
